Aarhus Walks on Water 2018


Task: Key visuals and DTP for a show of fashion tech

Impact: Posts and banners viewed by 300 followers and seen by over 200 spectators





AWOW is an open air fashion show for designers and students in fashion-technology

My task in the project was to create key visuals and promotional material for the 2018 edition of the event. With a photograph from the previous year’s show as a leading image, I created a visual language which was flexible enough to be translated into various media and formats, from print to social media. The delicate “amoeba” shapes were easy to manipulate and could take different positions and sizes, which allowed me to quickly make an instagram grid one day, and a printed poster the next.

The second edition of AWOW attracted over 200 viewers

It showcased the work of 3 international fashion designers, namely Joanna Hir, Modeclix and Elektrocouture, as well as 6 collaborations between students and Danish fashion labels.

AWOW 2018 is an Aarhus 2017 European Capital of Culture commissioned event in collaboration with More Creative and Central Denmark Region.
